3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Stopper bottle. Pours deep brown, light tan head lingers a little while. Almost completely lacks hoppiness of any sort. Interesting brew. Faintly sweet burnt chocolate on tongue, almost like Tobblerone or some similar candy I can’t quite put my finger... err tongue on. I liked it. Not extremely complex, fairly dry finish. Inoffensive.
Aroma is clove, banana, spices, slight caramel, permanent marker, eh. Appearance is brown amber, light tan head, hazy. Taste is wheat, spices, clove, tropical fruit, banana, slightly metallic, light, good. Mouthfeel is medium body, light crisp carbonation, slight spice and wheat aftertaste. Overall, it may not be true to style, but it’s not overwhelming in its clove so I’m gonna say it’s good. WillemsUrenkel (1911) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2016
0,5 l bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Murky dark orange in the glass, nearly two finger head. Some, wheat, yeast, fruit and clove on the nose. Taste starts dry fruity, increasing orange in the second row, wheat, yeast, some banana. Smooth nearly oily palate. Low dry bitterness in the aftertaste. Okay. kappldav123 (6110) - GERMANY - NOV 28, 2016
Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice creamy head. Starts mild, malty, light roasty. Fine yeasty-sweetish notes, not too dry. Fruity hints of plum. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. Nice! thedm (6222) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - OCT 13, 2016
This flippy top bottled brew from a restaurant poured a very large sized head of cascading foam finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated weak brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was mild malt and mild wheat. The mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild wheat mild hops and brown malt. An OK brew just nothing special. Grzesiek79 (4316) - Radom, POLAND - FEB 20, 2016
Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Swing-top bottle. Metnawe, brazowo pomaranczowa barwa, srednia piana i średnio trwala ale ladna puszysta jak to w pszeniczniakach bywa. Smak to nieco karmelu, swiezego pieczywa, wafelki. Malo akcentow typowych czyli banan, goździki. Chmielu niewiele. Przyjemny ciemny i bardzo metny dunkelweizen

bottle. Hazy deep golden with one finger head. Medium body with plenty of wheat and sweet mild banana. Would like more clove and spicing. Averageish at best.

Rated on 01-07-2013 (Flip top bottle) This beer pours a large off-white head with a lengthy retention, transparent golden body, slow rising, fizzy carbonation, and one ring of lacing. This beer’s aroma is caramel malt, sweet and suggestion of spice. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this beer is light-medium bodied. This beer lacks character and flavor. It is not a beer that entices me to want again. Rune (12982) - Tromsø, NORWAY - NOV 1, 2014
500ml bottle shared with Finn. Nicely served in ceramic mugs at Bolero Bamberg (we had plastic glass to get the body colour right). Lasting off-white head to an unclear, grey-orange coloured body. Spotty lacing. Sweet fruity smell joined by wheat. Flavours of dark wheat, mid-sweet dough, banana sweetness and a little citrus touch to the ending. Medium bodied. Just alright (12.10.2014).
