1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pictured bottle from Keg Liquors; split six ways. Aroma: Semi-sweet chocolate no-bake cookies, but lighter overall; not much in the way of hops. Appearance: Chestnut brown, flat body with a ring of bubbly tan head. Flavor: Very light and nearly watery; has that no-bake chocolate oatmeal cookie thing going on; fruity esters and hop presence are negligible. Palate: Light body, slick texture, flat carbonation, lingering finish. Overall: Exceedingly dull. Almost like a watered down German Guinness.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
500 mL swing top bottle shared by ebone1988. The pour is a dark brown, hints of ruby shining through, with a thicker off white head and a good amount of lace. It does pour like a light cola. The aroma is heavy on sweet potatoes. There is a little brown sugar and molasses that is hidden. The dominating factor here is the sweet potatoes which is really different. The flavor is almost non-existent. It's very, very light. I'm pretty much just getting a little malty water. There is no distinct flavors. The mouth feel is thin and light with a decent carbonation level and the only thing of an aftertaste I can formulate is a barely-detectable sweet potato, long after the beer is gone. Smelled like there was much better potential. Disappointing.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle shared with koleminer20. Aroma is malt, figs, molasses, brown sugar, sweet potato. Appearance is cola brown/amber, light tan head. Taste is...nothing, really. Some very light flavors far away. Malt, caramel, maybe? Very light. Mouthfeel is thin, medium carbonation. Overall...I was expecting some actual flavor based on aroma.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not sure the specific characteristics of landbier but it is pretty basic. There is malt foward flavor. There is some of the sweet candy tachiness of some of the hefeweizens as well though.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Thanks to KL. Fruity nose, some citrus and grassiness, and even a little tropical fruit. Orange/amber color. Hop heavy initial, mild malt backbone, hops re-emerge in mid and but do not stay around for the finish. Thin-medium body. Hops are the focus here -- seems a touch thin for all the bittering. Still, tasty and interesting.
