Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a frothy white head - tons of bubbles rise from the bottom as well, which makes for a nice look! Aroma of refreshing malt, citrus, yeast, wheat and some fresh cut grass. Medium-bodied; Very fruity citrus flavours roaming through this one with a bit of a floral essence and finishes with a clean malt - very nice. Aftertaste is crisp and refreshing, not much hops, but plenty of smooth malt. Overall, a nice and potent helles good for the summertime without doubt! I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 26-April-2008. checkmatei1 (765) - Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 9, 2008
Swing Top Bottle: Golden yellow and smelled like a beer. The flavor was light, somewhat hoppy and somewhat malty. It was almost too sweet. Reminded me of a typical German Lager, it was just alright. jonas (7588) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAR 5, 2008
Bottle. Spicy hop, light malt. Pale lager, low off-white head. Light lager, ok dryness. Not fantastic. Braudog (6719) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 23, 2007
Flipped the top and poured this straw-colored and lightly hazy brew with a thin but firm top. The aroma is very grainy and sweet. The beer drink with an unfortunate shallow body and a very light, buttery, almost smoky malt basis. Would’ve nicely accompanied a big gravied German meal of meat and potatoes. Bottled. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw and dust, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Flavour of malts, caramel, cardboard and hops. Grovlam (4247) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2007
Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great tasting session] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a yellow color. Aroma of grain, caramel, grass. Quit malty base. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Very balanced light sweet and bitter flavor. Light dry and somewhat sweet finish. Quit nice. 27-07-07 Papsoe (25063) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Good, malty nose. Medium body, fairly malty with a dry, lightly bitter finish. 270707 Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2007
Bottled. Golden coloured. Malty aroma and flavour with some grassy notes and some bitternes in the finish. LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - APR 2, 2007
Perfect pour, and in the words of my 4 year old daughter, the beer looks like a superhero...Tea colored with a thick white head coming above the glass. Sweet biscuit and honey aroma. Sweet, toasty, caramel malt flavor with a long finish. Crisp germanic helles flavor.
