kramer (6990) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 30, 2008
500ml bottle. Pours a pale yellow body with a nice fizzy one inch bright white head. Some light delicate lacing. Very minimal aroma, just a slight hint of cooked veggies and zero hops. Very light in both flavor and body, watery and weak. This one from Veldensteiner just doesn’t do it for me. It really doesn’t taste any different than most US macro crap.

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a frothy white head - tons of bubbles rise from the bottom as well, which makes for a nice look! Aroma of refreshing malt, citrus, yeast, wheat and some fresh cut grass. Medium-bodied; Very fruity citrus flavours roaming through this one with a bit of a floral essence and finishes with a clean malt - very nice. Aftertaste is crisp and refreshing, not much hops, but plenty of smooth malt. Overall, a nice and potent helles good for the summertime without doubt! I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 26-April-2008.

Swing Top Bottle: Golden yellow and smelled like a beer. The flavor was light, somewhat hoppy and somewhat malty. It was almost too sweet. Reminded me of a typical German Lager, it was just alright.

Bottle. Spicy hop, light malt. Pale lager, low off-white head. Light lager, ok dryness. Not fantastic.

Braudog (7015) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - SEP 23, 2007
Flipped the top and poured this straw-colored and lightly hazy brew with a thin but firm top. The aroma is very grainy and sweet. The beer drink with an unfortunate shallow body and a very light, buttery, almost smoky malt basis. Would’ve nicely accompanied a big gravied German meal of meat and potatoes. (#3106, 9/23/2007)

Ungstrup (39531) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2007
Bottled. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of straw and dust, leading to a slightly bitter finish.

joergen (30200) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - AUG 3, 2007
Bottle. Clear yellow coloured with a white head. Aroma of malts and caramel with notes of cardboard and hops. Flavour of malts, caramel, cardboard and hops.

Grovlam (4258) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 2, 2007
Bottle. [Courtesy of Papsoe, another great tasting session] Small fizzy white head that mostly diminished. Clear flat looking body with a yellow color. Aroma of grain, caramel, grass. Quit malty base. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Very balanced light sweet and bitter flavor. Light dry and somewhat sweet finish. Quit nice. 27-07-07

Papsoe (25055) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 29, 2007
(Bottle 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Good, malty nose. Medium body, fairly malty with a dry, lightly bitter finish. 270707

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - JUL 27, 2007
Bottled. Golden coloured. Malty aroma and flavour with some grassy notes and some bitternes in the finish.
