Has always liked the smoked, this one too. Aroma is moderate malty, bread and toasted, smoke too. Flavor starts moderate sweet and finish moderate bitter, more smoke. Medium to full body. Creamy texture. Soft carbonation. Light astringent.

Swing top bottle. Light smoked meat and sour milk malt aroma. Medium brown with small head. Nice smoked meat and malt flavor with a long lasting aftertaste. Tasty and nicely drinkable.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 6, 2009
It’s hazy brown with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of smoke and smoked meat. The flavor is moderately sweet with notes of smoke, smoked meat, malt and the finish is slightly dry. It’s OK as such, but not overly complex.

Feinschmecker (202) - Seattle, Washington, USA - OCT 29, 2009
Mahogany color with sweet malty and smoky aroma. Light body. Not too heavy on the palate. Roasted malt and fruit besides the smokiness dominate the flavor. Not bad. The mouth feel could be better as well as the flavor complexity.

cheeta (1181) - Langå, DENMARK - SEP 20, 2009
Aroma is light smoked. Huge, creamy, off-white head. Good lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear, amber body. Moderate bitter and smoked flavor. Medium to full palate.

Gr0ve (2177) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 8, 2009
500 ml bottle. Chestnut. Clear. Medium-sized white head that clings to the glass. Lightly smoked malt aroma. Light münchener malt flavours. Definitely a lager. Feels a little thin, and the body is light. Could have used a lot more smoked malt to make this a better beer. As it is there is way too little of everything. Not a particularly good rauchbier.

HenrikSoegaard (14101) - Randers, DENMARK - JUL 23, 2009
Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Very smoked bacon aroma. Malty smoked flavor. Average finish. Oily palate. Nice but not my style.

asheft (3062) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 13, 2009
[bottle] Very smoky aroma with some esters and a little oxidized character. Cloudy reddish-brown under a white sheet. Bready and toasty malt flavour with a very subtle and pleasant smoke. Good balance with bitterness and roast. Medium body, moderate carbonation, though prickly. Almost clean, smoky finish.
