Storm (2684) - Amager, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2007
Bottle. Hazy brown colour with a little head. Nice aroma of smoke. Also flavour of smoke compared with hints of malt and caramel.

reakt (950) - Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2007
Bottle, courtesy of Mes. Reddish amber with a lasting off white foam. Nose of sweet malts and smoked cheese. Taste is much the same with notes of caramel, hops and some dusty cocoa. Not usually my style of beer but to be honest it wasn’t all that bad.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 14, 2007
bottled. loads of yeast in the bottle, quite excitable. decent bacon bits aroma, very flavoursome - sour cream, old banana, nutmeg, honey smoked ham, cocoa powder. tasty stuff

MesandSim (7117) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2007
A Mes rate: Bottle from someone who promised something pretty decent and replaced it with this instead. Not too impressed. Anyway. Very dark amber brown with a thin white film and slight lace. Slightly pukey and malt in the aroma. Light hoppage and some caramel. Very slight beechwood smoke. Flavour is a lot better. Decent malt and hop balance. Strong caramel. Slight caramel and pleasant prickly smoke. Long long smoky malt finish that gets better the longer it lasts. A little thin but not bad overall.

Dedollewaitor (16359) - Odense, DENMARK - AUG 29, 2007
Hazy brown with o.w head. Aroma is of sweet malts - light smokey. Medium bodied. Bacon & ashtray all the way. Lasting finish. This is one of a few styles I simply cannot stand!!!

yespr (47115) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 7, 2007
From 50 cL bottle. Pours hazy amber brown with a creamy white head. Lovely smoked and almost meat-like aroma. Smoked and malty flavoured. Soft creamy malt and smoke finish. Solid but also a one dimensional flavoured smoked.

Ungstrup (38249) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2007
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of smoke and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of smoke and caramel, leading to a dry, bitter, and roasted finish, with the smoke lingering for some time.

thewolf (12757) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle. A redish amber with a small creamy white head. Aroma is very smoky, salami, herring. And so is the flavour - and it simply is not my style, pheeuww... liquid meat...

fiulijn (21022) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 17, 2007
Hazy mahogany color; creamy head. Very nice smokey aroma, sweet wood, malt. Some caramel/malt taste, but weak, some smokey touch, but simple at the end.

caesar (7170) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 29, 2007
Hazy brown color, big off-white head. Aroma of hop, some caramel malt, some smoke, vanilla, oak wood. Sweet caramel malty taste, toffee. Not very smokey though.
