Light aroma of sweet toasted bread. Golden color with slight haze, small white head. Creamy entry gives way to a little zip then finishes dry. Toasted bread, hay, bisquit notes. Light carbonation , good with sausages to whipe pallet clean.

500mL bottle. Poured medium golden-orange with a creamy, well-retained white head. The aroma picked up toasted honey and rice with light herbal and detergenty accents.. very "organic" feel to it.. OK. The flavor found more adjuncty sweetness and a touch of wheat at the core.. light orange and herbal bitterness plus sharp carbonation around.. finished with an odd sticky sharpness.. this was an odd brew, and I wasn’t a huge fan.

500 ml swing top. Natural dark-orange color. Bottle poured a nice stable white head. Very - maybe even too - mild taste of toasted malt.

500 ml swing top[ bottle poured a hazy amber with a small lasting off white head. Aromas of bread, toasted malt, straw and earthiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, earthiness and toasted malt with a smooth dry lingering toasted malt finish.

mansquito (6438) - Nueva York, New York, USA - NOV 28, 2012
Whole Foods, Bowery 50cl ($4): Pours a hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is malty and some candy. Taste is slightly sweet. Carbonation and body are pretty correct. A slightly sugary aftertaste. Easy to drink and refreshing, but the flavour ain’t all that great.

Test vom 29.3.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,10,12,10,10,10 - 10,50

Gachupines (1252) - USA - NOV 7, 2012
Amber with a thin white head. Aroma is very musty almost like wet oats. Flavor is a bit hoppy and effervescent with a strong musty yeast characteristic. Finish is a little sour.

motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 24, 2012
bottle, picked up at the veldensteiner stand at slunce ve skle 2012. hardly deserving of the zwickl name - just a dull golden lager with a soft texture and hints of floorboards and nettles in an aftertaste seemingly entirely devoid of bitterness
