Tall stiff head. Yellow greyish. Looks lie a standard pilsener, smell like a pilsener, but has a lot more hops and less sugar. This was a surprise, a pleasant one. A beer I can recommend.

Can from Dusseldorf. Fragrant noserich malt, good hops, nice fruit. Apple, caramel, honey. Mellow, malt-rich, flavor. Fruity, with apples and good hops. A bit sweet, but great balance. A very nice, rich, pilsener. Surprisingly nice.

One of those brews that ive sworn to have always have, but I guess ratebeer has proved me wrong. Typical German swill: grains, malts and grassy notes placed over slight bitters and a typical smooth ending. This follows for both taste and nose. Kind of run-of-the-mill, comparable to Becks, though not as good as "fresh" Becks.

A great carbonation really stood out for me here making it a real pleasure to drink. Pretty tasty.

(Draught) Poured pale golden with quite large and white head. Aroma contained grass and grain. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, grain, malts, light sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter.

Can at home. Pours a clear golden color with a thick creamy, foamy head. Somewhat cripsy malt and rice aroma, with some faint grass. Clean, slightly watery pilsener flavor, nice creamy texture but still quite boring yet very easily drinkable.

Watery golden pour, small head, no lacing. Aroma of faint malts and hops, but predominantly water. Medium bitter flavour, not bad for a pilsener. Flavour is okay, rest is boring.

16.01.2010, 0,33l Bottle. In Bremen. Straw yellow colour with a large white head. A little thin body and not to much malt or taste. Refreshing bitterness with crisp hops.

Yellow with a small white head. DMS and grassy hops dominate the aroma. Dry and DMS filled flavour with spicy hops and a lasting bitterness

On tap at The Rake, London. Clear pale gold colour. Its alright, but it does have quite a lot of cardboard on the aroma and in the flavour. Yes, its not as bad as Maes Pils, but still a poor pale lager.
