Draught. Poured clear yellow with thick white head. Ringed lacing. Fresh grassy aroma like a spring day. Medium body with light malty flavour. Crisp hop finish. Good with spicy worste.

A very light simple pils with the hop crispness only at the very end. Pale yellow. Easy to drink and complements spicy food well.

(Bottled, rated 2010-09-02, the first time ever I drink beer in Germany :) Very pale yellow color, medium, lacy head. Herby-hoppy nose with pale malt. Corny-pale-malty flavor with a touch of butter and some late, herby bitterness. Light body, quite refreshing after a Helsinki-Travemünde boat trip and driving at night to Hamburg. A very basic lager, but clean and quite refreshing right now.

On tap in a restaurant in Berlin..
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a fluffy white head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Lots of malt, quite crisp. Herbal and floral hops.
Taste : Bready and malty. Slightly bitter. Finish very dry and crisp. Nice soft carbonation.
Overall : Nice avereage pils. Nothing special but interestingly dry and crisp.

canicule (90) - IRELAND - AUG 19, 2010
On draught at Thai Elephant restaurant Berlin. Pale golden colour, transparent. Little in the way of aroma. Slight hoppy taste, very smooth palate. Pleasant with a spicy meal but not much going on otherwise.

2010-08-02. Almost a year ago I married the beautiful and lovely Mabel, after having successfully gotten her interested in Ratebeer. Little did I know that she would be so enthused with the rating aspects, that in a room full of beers scoring the the 4.X range she would insist upon getting a glass of this. I have created a monster.... a lovely lovely monster. :) ( I of course had to join her....) Crisp dark yellow body with a small white head. Industrial grainy aroma, Sweet industrial, grainy pale malt in the flavour. Average palate. Awful. Tick. FONEFAN Masters Division Celebration, The White Horse, Parsons Green, London

Light gold, nice white head. Aroma: light malt, honey, grass, with an hint of lemon. Fresh. Taste is fine, better than classic economic beers of this price level. Nice honey flavour, fresh hop, herbs. Simply beer, refreshing. Not outstanding, but a nice pils for an aperitif.

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2015 Part of a variety pack at World Market. Actually not too bad at all. Nice balance of malt vs. hop. Serving: Bottle
