UPDATED: NOV 19, 2016 Flaske fra Vin-Gaven, 9310. Clear copper with a medium sized diminishing off white head with good lace. Odd sourish nose with red berries and butyric acid. Flavour is mild with dark bread, grain, dough, dust and again some butyric acid. Light body, little sweetness, medium bitter, light acidic. Acid in the finish. Bland at best.

Near gusher. Big offwhite head doesn’t last. Clear brown body with fast carbonation. Strawberry and caramel aroma with spicy notes. Sweetish peppery honey taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, fizzy mouthfeel. Sweet spicy honey aftertaste with chalky mealy notes. Kept trying to gush after I served it. (0.5l bottle, from Føtex Federikshavn.)

Fin smag af malt og humle, let syrlig i eftersmagen, og der er for lidt maltsødme i den.

On tap @ the brewpub. Slightly foggy, golden body with a light, but lacing off-white head. Mild, but rather nice in the nose. Light, smooth malty flavor, plain but refreshing. Medium body and medium aftertaste. Quite plain, but actually nice and refreshing as a Marzen. And finally – no butterscotch this time.

Bottle. Pours a copper color with a white head. Aroma is of sweet and caramel malt and some grassy hops. The flavor follows the nose, again caramel and sweet malt with grassy hops. The body is light with a crisp mouth feel. Overall a pretty traditional Märzen.
