Sampled at GABF 2015. In the sample glass brown with a light tan head. Nose of malts with some lite chocolate. Light to medium body. Flavor is malts with some light fruit and mild floral hops. Finished almost sweet. I had a number of Kentucky Commons here at GABF that were pretty mediocre. This one is not bad. Marheb (5781) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 23, 2016
(En fût au Stapleton Taphouse): Tarte aux pommes, coulis de caramel riche, des esters fruités et des pépites de chocolat. Belle surprise, on croirait à une bière de l’Albion. Frank (4196) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 20, 2015
This is brown and cloudy w/ a thick head of fine bubbles. I would probably call this a brown ale based on taste. It’s got a bit of toasty, roasty mal to it. It’s thick in texture but not too sweet, nice and creamy. A bit of fruit character comes out when you dig into it, which implies a bit of tartness. I would say this is only OK but certainly there are beers claiming to be Kentucky Commons which are much worse. rader58 (908) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - DEC 28, 2014

On tap at Tap and Handle. Appearance: finger light brown head that does not last too long, red brown color, cloudy. Aroma: chocolate, roasted malt, fruity, molasses. Palate: full body, soft carbonation, lightly oily texture, maybe slightly chalky. Taste: sweet malt and fruit, molasses sweetness lingers. Overall, complex, very interesting palate, and definitely worth trying. Concealer (1247) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 31, 2014
