Pours dark inky brown with a thin tan head, low retention. Aromas of oatmeal, chocolate, coffee, toast, a hint of vanilla. Medium body, low carbonation, lightly dry. Mildly sweet, a tiny hint of citrus, medium bitter, light lingering finish. A bit more carbonation would perk this up nicely. kevinator (2622) - The Colony, Texas, USA - SEP 4, 2015

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of cocoa, roast, coffee bean, some nice fruity notes with a hint of oats, slight vanilla in there. Taste was a mix of roast, chocolate, and vanilla into a bit of coffee, slight earthy, spicy notes, finishing sweet, slightly bitter.
