2014 Greece Travel Journal Notes - Kalymnos Pours a bright golden yellow with a fizzy off white head that disappears quickly. Sweet malt characted and a cloyingly sweet finish for a lager, light bitterness. Sweetness in offputting for me.

In Athen aus der Büchse getrunken (vom Strassenhändler). Sehr helles und klares Gelb mit viel Schaum (da kann man nichts durch riechen). Im Antrunk leicht süßlich mit minimaler Herbheit.

Pale urine yellow. Not a ton of head. Smells like corn. Soda water with a bit of barley.

Pours a yellow with a small head. No real aroma and the flavor is super sticky and sweet. I mean really sweet! Kind of like one of those honey beers. Why is this so sweet? Not very good.

Bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a small, lasting white head. Aromas of bread and citrus. Palate was light and crisp. Flavors of sweet malt and light citrus with a crisp, clean finish.

Bottle. Completely pointless color... you know the pale gold. Head is big... maybe three fingers of fizzy white stuff. Aromas of dus, corn and skunky hops. Flavor is a bit of a creamed corn and just a hint of grass.

Can 330 ml. Pale yellow colour with thick white foam. Classic lager beer grain taste, not something special. Surely not my personal choice for cheap beer. You can get a lot better and cheaper too in Greece.

33 cl can. Pours light straw coloured with a big snowy white head. Aroma of sweet malts. Taste is sweet corn with a light fruity aftertaste, no hops home here...
