guzgorog (937) - FRANCE - OCT 12, 2016

Carbonnation moyenne. Trouvée à Vanuxeem - Ploegstaert.

Pours clear amber , small white head . Smell is a bit sweet . Some fruity aspects . Taste is sharp , bit bitter . Some ambermalts . Too high carbo . Fruityness comes out in the aftertaste .

Alengrin (5718) - BELGIUM - AUG 9, 2014
Amber beer somewhat reminiscent of a spéciale belge, tasted as old beer (6 years of age). Cream white, loose, not too stable head, dark amber colour, tending towards copper, clear. Aroma of nutty and caramelly malts, strawberry, apple peel, honey, candied cherries, wood, cloves; taste a light fruitiness, honeyish touch, nutty maltiness, thin mouthfeel, not evolving much towards the finish. Somewhat curious, too bad for the disappointing finish.

Standard Belgian amber beer of special belge. Caramalt and some aroma hops. Meh.

Unterirdisches Space-Bier! Test vom 5.5.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,8,4,4,4,4 - 5,10

Abio (1868) - BERMUDA - MAR 10, 2012
Orange brown coloured beer. Malts, spices, mostly speculoos, and a fruity cherries aftertaste. Not my thing at all.
