UPDATED: DEC 13, 2013 Pours a dark reddish brown. Quite a sweet, malty aroma, with a hint of sourness, as well as green apple and oak. Tastes sweet and sour, quite fruity, has strong hints of green apple, with a bit of balsamic. A very complex character, there are a heap of different things going on regarding taste, and its hard to pin them all down. This is an amazing beer, every time I drink one it is almost a spiritual experience, trying to pin down all the different aspects of the beer, as compared the 2 dimensional malt-hop profile of most other beers, this is about 6 different dimensions, with all the different microbes making their own aroma and taste, as well as the malt and hops.

Mrk rdbrun farge med lysebrunt skum. Lukter sure Kirsbr og litt krydder. Veldig god og syrlig smak. Medium pluss med kullsyre og syrligheten sitter i lenge. Meget god :-)

Bottle. Clear dark red colour, small tan head. Aroma of wine, vinegar, lots of fruits (cherries, red grapes, currants) with wood in background. Taste is medium sour, finishes light sweet, of wine, red fruits and some wood. Medium body and carbonation. Good, classic flanders ale.

Bottle. Appearance: rather dark, but not black - something like burgundy, the head leaves nice lacing Aroma: first sour notes (resembling vinegar) and some red fruits, later, after warming, still sour but not so strong, wood, and cranberry Taste: sour, cranberry, and very sweet, a bit candy like, finish (too sweet for me)

Strong acetone in this one, quite overwhelming to the other aromas/flavours. Good acid structure once you get past that though.

brownish dark rubin collor. Rich aroma of red fruits such as cherries, grapes, dried fruits. Like cherry liquor chocolates. In taste little bit of apple cider vinegar and fermented fruits. Feels dry and has rough bitterness. Nice sour and vinegar finish. too high carbonation

Butelka 330ml. Ciemny rubinowy kolor. Piana srednia, bezowa opada dosc szybko. Kolejne sour beer i moje kolejne mieszane odczucia. Najwyrazniej nie zostane fanem tego gatunku. Octowo -winny aromat wzbogacony owocowymi akcentami. W smaku pierwszy lyk kwasny przechodzacy szybko w owocowa slodycz. Duzo wisni czarnej porzeczki rodzynek lekkie drozdzowe nuty. Piwo bez watpienia bogate smakowo. Jak dla mnie smak lepszy niz zapach co odzwierciedla ocene.
