Tart, fruit forward with a beautiful red color and touch of sweetness. All the flavors are well blended all all the edges well rounded.

UPDATED: DEC 13, 2013 Pours a dark reddish brown. Quite a sweet, malty aroma, with a hint of sourness, as well as green apple and oak. Tastes sweet and sour, quite fruity, has strong hints of green apple, with a bit of balsamic. A very complex character, there are a heap of different things going on regarding taste, and its hard to pin them all down. This is an amazing beer, every time I drink one it is almost a spiritual experience, trying to pin down all the different aspects of the beer, as compared the 2 dimensional malt-hop profile of most other beers, this is about 6 different dimensions, with all the different microbes making their own aroma and taste, as well as the malt and hops.

Bottle @ some beer place in Bruges. Dark red-brown colour. Very complicated arome, taste is divine. Dont expect the taste of beer, though. Sweet and sour at the same time in very balanced way. First impression is wine, but maybe some drink with campari would be more close.

Bottle into a tulip. Pours a deep ruby, with a minimal white head. Nose is balsamic vinegar and sour cherries, and the taste follows. Just enough sweetness to complement the tartness. A truly outstanding beer.

Dguste 13,6C. Bire part, qui me plat beaucoup.

W aromacie rum, drewno, wiśnie, wino, odrobina karmelu. W smaku kompot wiśniowy, chyba trochę śliwki, ale też wino, trochę znowuż rumu. Słodko-kwaśne. Bardzo orzeźwiające, idealnie zbalansowane. Mj ulubiony kwas.

Bottle, bought at a store in Brussels. Beautiful brown-red appearance. Solid, creamy head. Winey, sour nose. Sweet, flavorful taste. A lively, lovely beer, very well balanced.

UPDATED: OCT 25, 2015 Birra veramente spettacolare. Questa invece no!

Pours a dark ruby-brown from a bottle, lots of immediate Belgian effervescence that quickly fades. Aroma is a pleasant sweet-sour, almost like a Balsamic vinegar. Flavor is a a super version of the same, again Balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, red wine and a hint of leather and licorice perhaps, perfectly balanced. Slight burn on the finish, but not overly powerful alcohol flavor. Excellent beer.
