Brownish red body that is slightly hazy, topped by a small, light pink head that ends up as a fully covering film. Strong flavour of overripe cherries, almonds and a light funky sourness. Quite strong flavour that is very dominated by overripe cherries, also caramel, fruitiness and hints of funk. Moderate to light sweet taste and a light sourness and acidity. Medium body, surprisingly dry, moderate carbonation. Maybe a bit one dimensional, but quite good.

750 mL bottle, consumed on 2-13-16. EXP.: 06/2018. Pours a clear, reddish brown to dark amber with a moderate amount of short-lasting, beige head. Nice color. Good-looking beer. Nice, tart, mineral, salty aroma. Scents of caramel, cherries in a tin, balsamic vinegar, and pretzel. Interesting, metallic, tart taste. Sour. I dont necessarily get much cherry at first, but I do get maraschino cherry when I really look for it. Pepper spiciness in the taste. Cinnamon chewing gum and dust flavors. Mineral finish. Light to medium body. Frothy and soft in the palate. A bit undercarbonated. Overall, a decent sour brown but disappointing.
