Small creamy crown, cloudy gold brew. Woody, earthy, malty. Interesting blend . Not bad at all.

Clear orange. Big white head. Lots of fruit in the aroma. Still good after all these years. Some funk. I will go back and get those last two bottles.

Pours a hazy golden color, medium sized white head. QUite yeasty with a bit of spice and some apple. It’s a tad oxodized but it did not detract and I expected it a bit due to the age. A little bit of funk on this one. Kind of makes it akin to a saison but a touch sweeter. This held up pretty well, I wasn’t really expecting it to.

Citrus, yeast in the aroma, hazy golden, small white head. Flavours are yeast, grapefruit, bread and pears. It’s full bodied, well balanced and has a nice tongue tingle. Wonderful!! Thanks Shadey!

Lumpy (1802) - Carrollton, Texas, USA - APR 5, 2005
Bottle. Rubbery sweet chemical smell-in a good way. Lots of adjuncts-corn, rice, etc (at least that is the impression I got). Medium bitter finish.

joeycapps (1468) - Waterdown, Ontario, CANADA - APR 5, 2005
Cloudy gold w/ large, rocky white head. Aroma is yeasty, toasty & malty w/ notes of banana, pear, grassy hops, vanilla, & mint. Light, lively, effervescent feel. Flavour is sweet, yeasty, & malty w/ a light acidity & a peppery spiciness in the finish.

Pour is cloudy yellow with floaties and no head...smell is musty and sweet with hints of yeast and rotted cork...taste is dying with some sweetness and dark and light fruits, but bordering on lifeless...finish is quick and disappointing...

Thanks to Shadey for this one. Yeasty and fruity. A little grape. Spicy and funky with fruit and alcohol. Plums, clay, pineapple. Not bad.
