Black currant jam and coffee aroma with some sweet molasses. Opaque brown-black with a lasting, lacy, light brown cover. Sweet mocha and cream flavour that has an almost tingly sweet molasses finish. On tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a thick, thick tan head. Aroma of roast and chocolate. Flavor of roasted malt, followed by burnt malt, and bitter burnt chocolate in the finish. Light palate. Decent dry stout, coulda been better.

Une pinte bue en compagnie de mon cousin Vincent sur place. La bière est noire opaque avec une belle mousse beige crémeuse. Le nez offre de beaux arômes rôtis avec une touche de chocolat. La bière coule bien en bouche, elle est désaltérante, le rôtie transpire en bouche. Bon stout facile à boire.

Tap at brewpub. Pours a deep oily black with a nice lasting head. Aroma is sweet, big earthiness, moderate roasted barley, leather and some smokey hints. Nearly opaque dark brown color with a medium sized, tan head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malts, cocoa, and burnt sugar. Taste of dry roasted malts, some smoked wood, and light bitter cocoa, drier finish.
