Tap at brewery. Pours brown with orange hues. Aroma is very fruity, estery, Belgian yeast, apples, banana. Taste is medium carbonation, very estery, medium bodied. Overall, okay. Salmoniform (1272) - Sweet Home, Oregon, USA - JUN 5, 2014
Poured from tap to glass. Copper hue with off white head. Aroma is caramel, banana, straw, honey, floral, esters. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is dry sweetness throughout with a slight ethanol finish. Overall this is an interesting Belgian and is heavy on the banana esters. ogiergrove (120) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUL 6, 2013
Clear light brown. Dubbel style, with some nice spice and raisin. Not bad, probably would have liked it more on a cooler day.

UPDATED: JUN 8, 2013 Great interpretation of a Trappist Ale. Dark brown, copper pour, not much head. Aroma of tropical fruits and bread. Nice bitterness and fruit, not sweet at all. I personally like more alcohol in this style, but would put this one up against any other in the state. Update: seems to have kicked up the honey. Sweeter than I recall and a little more tannic. Still a solid and unique Dubbel. Brouwerij (959) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 17, 2012
Hazy dark copper pour with tan head, minimal lacing. Sweet malty, caramel aroma. Flavor is mild nutty and caramel up front, then sweet stone fruit/grape/apple tones. Mild sweetness from the honey. Soft carbonation and a medium body. Slightly bitter astringent finish. Delicious and drinkable, an interesting take on a belgian.
