Balsamic vinegar aroma (duh). Head lasts a while. Vinegary flavour in an attemt to balance it out against the stout. Somewhat too acidic still

@ BXL Beer Fest. Dark brown/black colour, brown foam. Wow, this is a complex stout! Lots of roasted malts, coffee, chocolate along with vinegar tartness, fruity berries, wood and wine. Very well balanced. This is a winner!

On keg at Small Bar, Bristol. Pours black, thin cream head. On the nose it’s light balsamic vinegar & red wine barrels. Taste is similar, sweet & sour. Full bodied, doesn’t taste it’s strength. A fabulous sour stout

[email protected] This seems to be a funky cross between a stout and a sour. Black, brown head. Sour pruney aroma, some coffee on the background. Medium body. [email protected] taste. They call it a hybrid stout. Not convinced by this.

Liquid is pitch black, very small brown head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Heavy body, little bit carbonation. Taste is sweet.
