UPDATED: AUG 24, 2017 On keg at Small Bar, Bristol. Pours brownish red, with a tan head. Nose of sour cherries, funk, wood, light balsamic. Taste is sour lactic, dark fruits, cherries & funk. Medium body, spritzy carbonation. A decent, complex beer, the cherries marry nicely with the base beer. Very good

Nice fermented aroma of old brown and cherry. Taste is old brown with some vinegar and cherry, with something addled. Oak. Wry.

Shag (3047) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JUL 15, 2017
A brownish red color with a beige head. The flavor contains some cherries, tart apples, caramel, and vinegar. The flavor is well balanced and not too sour. You get of course some cherries up front with the sourness and vinegar in the back. Some maltiness balanced out the sour cherries. Love this style and this beer.

Oakes (19027) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 13, 2017
Dark cherry brown, rich deep acetic note, with a lot of cherry, and a lot of wood. Big, balanced, assertive.

mcberko (19204) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUL 8, 2017
Bottle at Farmhouse Fest, pours a deep dark burgundy with a tiny head. Aroma brings out light pithy cherry skins, some balsamic and some wild yeast. Flavour is nicely vinegary, with tart cherries, some skins, and balsamic. Tart and acetic, but nicely constructed. Very good.
