Gerbeer (4024) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 12, 2017
750 ml bottle. Pours an orange/red/brown with no head. Aromas of green cherries, red berries, oak, and light toasted malts. Flavors follow same; tart as expected but wonderfully balanced. Only a subtle jammy-ness. Well done.

SvanteL (644) - SWEDEN - JAN 22, 2017

Acetic vinager nose. Pours hazy ruby. Agressive unbalanced tartness like cherry vinager. Unpleasant!

3.8
Unde (1152) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 10, 2017
Clear dark red colour with small head which moved to the sides of the glass. Aroma has intense cherry note, sour cherry and maybe hint of sweet red berries also. Taste is sour. Red cherries and punch of sourness. Not much else. But something is missing. Medium body and high carbonation.

Punkero (471) - FINLAND - JAN 10, 2017
Deep crimson red. Strong, dusty and slightly sweet aroma. Cherry definitely. Crisp. Nice, wine like taste. Cherry not too prominent or canned.

Kavu (5133) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JAN 3, 2017
0,75l bottle shared in Belge tasting @ One Pint Pub. Pours clear ruby red with a low head. Aroma is sour malts, cherries and some stomach acid. Flavor is sour malts, cherries, stomach acid and vinegar. Great.

olsvammel (7289) - Örebro, SWEDEN - DEC 13, 2016
Sample at Örebro Öl & Whisky 2016. Tart and fruity smell with cherries. Similar taste. High tartness. Light body.

Samuel214 (1477) - Örebro, SWEDEN - NOV 26, 2016
Flaska på Örebro Öl & Whisky Festival. Rikligt med körsbär, fin syrlighet, sträva ekfatstoner, lite höton och i bakgrunden lite kolaremmar. Välbalanserad, lagom syrlighet, mycket smak. Går att dricka mycket av.

3.7
JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - NOV 14, 2016
Short-lived pink-cream head over beautiful clear ruby, initially big-bubbled beer. Sour(ish) nose, with discernible krieken. Aromatic notes as from some exotic plantleaf, even a tad soapy. Sour cherries, (quite a) bit of lactic acid, wood. Faint idea of cakebottom, making it liquid Kriekentaart (and -tart). Lipsmacking acidity. Serious acidthinning, making it nearly feel as spritzy lemonade, if only for a while, since the carbonation disappears alarmingly fast. Very good, indeed old-style kriek.

rouhlas (3784) - Thessaloniki, GREECE - NOV 14, 2016
From 750 ml bottle courtesy of skullgeorge at the Hoppy Pub, Thessaloniki. Hazy amber orange red color with off white to pinkish head. Yeasty and light malty aroma, tart fruity, cherries-berries, barnyard notes, vinegar. Sweet and acidic taste like aroma. Medium oily body with flat carbonation.
