Draught [As Brouwers Verzet Oud Bruin Fruit Infusion, ABV 7%, but sign said "with cherries" so assuming it’s this entry] @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy reddish color, small off-white head. Nice balanced aroma: a bit sourish, nice red fruit influence. Taste is very sour, sour unripe red fruits. Acidic sour and dry finish. Over the top sour imo. Too bad, if it was sour instead of acidic I probably would have like it quite a bit. This is too much though. For me anyway.

28/XI/15 - sample @ Winters Bierfestival (Vichte) - BB: n/a (2015-1664) Thanks to Bierridder_S and the Gentse Biervereniging crew for sharing today’s beers!

Little hazy deep amber to red beer, no head. Aroma: funky, fruity, bit sourish, lemony, some almonds. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sour, vinegar notes, bit oxidized, lemon juice, bit funky. Aftertaste: little dirty, very sour, funky, some cherries, vinegar, some tannins. Interesting one!

Tasted at Vinni,Birri,Ribelli 2015. Pours Dark amber, small white head. Smell is sour-sweet. Taste is sour, dry, funky, bit ’plastic’- I feel like both the cherries and the beer are colliding, more than blending.

Sampled 750 ml. bottle @ “Vini Birre Ribelli 2015”. Deep hazy murky cherry brown, little head. Nose is hugely puckering ,light vinegar, great puckering sour cherry expression. Taste is interesting slightly fermenting fruity sour cherry, dash of vinegar puckering, minor balance from sweeter sour malt & dash of candy, solid malt base, good sourness, great expression of fruit. Low carbonation, puckering & touch malty body. Interesting and lovely if you don’t mind quite a bit of sourness which I obviously don’t.

Bottle at Winters bierfestival Vichte. Cherries, lots of carbonation, mouthpuckering sour, your teeth really hurt from this one. Still a fine beer, but too sour.
