Alengrin (5727) - BELGIUM - AUG 8, 2014
The first and experimental version of this "new old brown", at the time not yet bottled and sold as "Experimenteel Bier". Stable, yellowish white head, bronze colour with orangey hue. Sweet-sourish aroma one might expect from a good oud bruin, cassis, orange peel, passion fruit, liquorice, oak, sherry, hay; taste very fruity, sourish dry, apple, yoghurt-like lactic acid, caramel malts, woody, complex and dry finish. Very good take on this waning style and it is a good thing new breweries make new examples of it, as it is one of those uniquely Belgian, complex and historically valuable beer styles.

travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - DEC 15, 2013
Bottle. The look is an off white head, reddish brown in color, and clear. The smell is caramel, tart, fruits, cherries, deep, pie, and lacto. The taste is tangy, wheat, tart, fruits, acidic, and bracing.

kidmartinek (5007) - austin, Texas, USA - MAY 6, 2013
Cloudy brown pouring with a large foamy head but the head dissipates rapidly. The aroma is stinky yeast and pleasant reminders of basements dampness and minerals. Right off the bat the beer is expectionally dry. Its taste is flat and yeasty and finishes very tart and sour.

Habanero (4848) - Tranbjerg, DENMARK, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2016
Bottled. Pours hazy amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart berries, vinegar, caramel notes, wood, banyard and horse blanket. Slightly sweet flavor that ends up being dry and tart. Light bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation. A very nice Sour. 🌟🌟🌟🌟

jkwalking05 (4745) - Arlington, Texas, USA - DEC 15, 2013
