Bottle. Etre Gourmet. Quite lovely, reddy copper colour. Soft haze. Slimmest ring of dense, off white bubbles. Nose has aged balsamic vinegar. Sour cherry. Baked apple. Vanilla oak. Has notes of fig and dates. A little earthy, and a little leathery. Lots going on here. Taste has an initial, cherry sweetness, turning dry, and moderately sour. Drying on the palate. Softly acidic. Light but well pitched carbonation. Twangy sourness on the finish, but doesn't lose the balsamic, cherry sweetness. Very nice.

Goede variant van de oak leaf, die wel nog steeds mijn voorkeur geniet. Iets zoeter. Matig zuur. Verfrissend.

Draft at Foeders, Amsterdam. Hazy amber brown with an off white head. Aroma of tart ripe fruits, vinous notes, light funk, citric notes. Flavour is above light sweet and above moderate sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [24/06/2017]

Aroma and taste are very oaky. Rotten grape peel. Nice ’oud bruin’ sour. I liked the oak leave version better.

Aroma is fresh and complex: white wine, fruity, ripe, fermented fruits. Taste is unexpectedly sour, gripping your tongue and cheeks for a second. After the initial shock is passed, you can feel tart notes, wine vinegar, grapes. Acidic. Fruity, dry pleasant after-taste. A bit too sour for me, but still respectable.

Rood bruin bier met weinig of geen schuim. Geur: hout! Ietwat zurige honing, fruitig, vineus, complex een prachtige geur, mocht ik niet beter weten, … ik snoof het bier gewoon op. Smaak: zacht zurig, licht fruitig, droog, ietwat tannine. Matige koolzuurprikkel. Lekker!

Donker rood-bruine kleur. Geur is balsamicoazijn en hout. Smaak is zuur, hout en balsamicoazijn maar in de positieve zin.
