Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with huge white head. Lots of spicy yeast with white pepper, cloves and cardamom. Some dough, nettles, chicory, white bread. Belgian yeast is totally dominating this beer. Medium sweet and spicy bitter finish. Medium bodied with lots of carbonation. Nowhere near an IPA, not bad but more a standard Belgian strong blonde with some saison like spices.

Aroma: Smelling of bread, orange, cardamom and yeast.
Appearance: A clear brass colored beer. A fluffy white head with good lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet fruits, clove, yeast and apple peel.
Palate: Medium high carbonation, a soft texture. A good body with a somewhat dry finish.
Overall: A good balance between Britain and Belgium.
Note: Bottle 750 ml at home. Reviewed 2015-09-17.

Une IPA, donc l’amertume domine, sans être écrasante. Manque d’arôme toutefois, on retrouve principalement des notes de citron et d’autres maltées. Bière assez mousseuse, avec une robe clair.

Bottle @ Voldby øl-messe. Pours dark yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, light bread, light sourness, some light fruity hops, sweet citrus. Flavor is light sweet, malt, yeast, fruit, grass, citrus. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. 290815

gEUS (1637) - Linden, BELGIUM - AUG 23, 2015
330 ml bottle at home. Pours cloudy light orange with a medium nice dense frothy head. Not really an IPA, but more of a Belgian Ale and less of a typical triple as well: some typical Belgian triples’ spice/cloves in the aroma, but less than in the averge one, and more refined. sweet malt characteristics, as well as some resinous hops.Full body, loads of bitterness well countered by subtle sweetness and a nice yeast spiciness kicking in towards the finish. Very nice beer!

Draft at Zwevegems Bierfestival. Very Belgian tripel-like, little bit more bitter, spices, bland, boring, worst beer I've had of Brouwers Verzet. Very commercial.

Rebel Local to Indian Pale Ale.

Bottle from Voldby. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, yeasty and moderate hoppy - grass and orange. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 280615

Idiosynkrasie (7721) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUN 18, 2015
330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy, foamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Fruity aroma, notes of mirabelle, nectarine, a touch of peach, honey and pollen background. Taste is moderately sweet malty, fruity, a touch of honey, bitter hoppy overtones remain somehow in starting position, a cautious peppery spicy yeasty touch, some honeydew melon, citrusy hoppy finish with lemon touch. Exploits some benefits of a truely Belgian interpretation.
