12-OCT-2013, bottle @home, from Kvickly.
Pours with high light brown head that dies quickly without leaving any laces.
Aroma is quite weak as it is opened cold. Mostly a citric note but also weak roasted stuff. Taste is a surprise. Loads of roast with mostly chocolat, coffee, whiskey, smoke, oak. First sweet but turns woody dry on the finish. Above average body, soft carbontion, Some alcohol.
Very nice Porter. Not the usual spiced up X-mas brew. First X-brew of the season and I like it:-)
