Golden color with an off-white head. Slight hazed as the tails of the bottle are poured. Full malt scent with just a hint of floral hops. Light pale sweet malt start. Middle has a bit of earthy to herbal hops. No off flavors which often doom this style brew. Simple golden ale. 1/14

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, bottled on 5/24/2016. Pours slightly hazy medium golden yellow color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of wheat, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, light pepper, light lemon/pear/apple, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and light earthy hops/yeast ester notes; with solid strength. Taste of wheat, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, herbal, light pepper, light lemon/pear/apple, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of wheat, cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and light earthy hops/yeast ester flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance, and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/grainy mouthfeel that is good. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a good blonde ale. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and light earthy hops/yeast ester flavors; very smooth and easy to drink. Was hoping for a bit more hop presence, but it is a good style example otherwise. A nicely enjoyable offering. commonshawn (1321) - Minnesota, USA - NOV 3, 2016
Tap at new bohemia in golden valley. Bumped pint glass. Hazy orange gold with medium white head. Sweet citrus with some funk. Pretty average. Aurelius (5570) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 30, 2016
Foggy honey gold. Clingy white, filmy head. Slightly sour, yeasty, maybe a little toasty aroma. Biscuity, dry, lightly bittered. Goes flat, a little vacant in the middle. Lightish body. Lingering, wheaty bitter aftertaste. St George Island Brewfest with LuckyDog. dukeandduke (272) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - MAR 29, 2015
3/24/15 (Bottle) - Yellow brown pour, medium carbonation, with minimal foam. Minimal aroma and very bland taste, mild hops and wheat. Smooth going down. Overall average offering.

bottle - Pours clear yellow-gold with a small, white head. It smells of grainy malt. It tastes of grainy, bready malt with some mild hops bitterness. It’s mostly bland with a certain harshness to the taste that I can’t quite place. Not good. nellycale (213) - Caledonia, Minnesota, USA - JAN 12, 2015
From bottle. Pours a clear golden hue with a fading head. Aroma is some pear esters, biscuity, bready malts and somewhat soapy. Taste is a mild and nothing really sticks out. Very bland and short finish. Will never buy again.

Sampled at Northgate Tasting. A bit maltier than their lager, but still pretty safe, average, and run of the mill. badgerben (5327) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2014
Pale gold color with a small head. Very light aroma of floral hops. Mildly grainy flavor. Some herbalness. Slightly sweet finish. HIGHB4LL (837) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 17, 2014
12 oz. bottle from Party Time Liquor in Spearfish. Appearance: 1 finger white head, clear straw yellow, head does not last. Aroma: biscuits, rice, floral, light grassy. Palate: light body, average carbonation, sticky texture. Taste: light sweet wheat, and malt, into a very faint bitter. Overall, very drinkable and refreshing, but not a very amazing beer aside from that.
