COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Smells like banana nut bread. Very juicy, fruity flavor. Dark amber color. Light carbonation. Enjoyable.

It’s slightly hazy, red-bronze with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, acetone and dark fruits, mostly raisin. The sweet flavour has notes of alcohol, acetone, malt, raisin, fruit, caramel, and the finish has some slightly dry and spicy citrus.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark orange amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, dried fruit, overripped fruit, light yeasty, moderate alcohol - acetone. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt and fruit, alcohol. IMO to young now. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light to light moderate alcoholic. [20100629]

Bottle, 10.5%. Mild phenolic, yeasty aroma, acetone, better than it sounds. Hazy red/amber colour. Small stable tan head. Very sweet sugary flavour. Some teaish notes, vanilla. Rough hoppiness, clean enough, though. Seems quite green still. Should have been lagered for another few years, at least. Why so strong in alcohol? Why so sweet?

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, dextrose, and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish Thanks yespr for sharing.

50 cL bottle, courtesy of HenrikSoegaard. Pours golden deep orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is yeasty and dark malty. Light fruity. Sweet, malty and fruity flavoured. Dense malty and sweet. A bit of ageing would do it better. Lasting sweet malty and roasted finish.

Papsoe (25056) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUN 15, 2010
Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a deep amber with a slight haze and a rough off-white head. Very intense fruity and caramellish aroma with evident alcohol. Solid body, fruit and vanilla, caramel and apple notes. Quite some bitterness in the finish and an alcohol boost. 150610
