jjsint (3521) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 27, 2017
Handpull cask from Broood @ Vin Quatre, Leicester. Dark brown bordering on black with a tan head. Coffee and chocolate in the aroma, with light notes of molasses, Bovril and forest floor. Taste: man, this is ridiculously sweet but I dig it. It comes together so nicely in the finish with just a wisp of hop bitterness for balance. Cinnamon sticks in the aftertaste. Special.

kwik-lime (2066) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 20, 2017
Cask at the Antelope in Surbiton. Not that strong in flavour but a great balance of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, caramel and vanilla.

Svesse (8830) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - MAY 15, 2017
(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 24 April 2017) Black colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice and a sweetish finish with a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Well made porter with lots of chocolate and coffee. Very nice.

imdownthepub (15395) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - MAY 5, 2017
Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Festival ’17. Very dark brown with cream head. There is a heavy cigarette ash character to this from the start, burnt tobacco then a plummy fruitiness. Not sure what has happened here as my rating is very different to previous but I wasn’t that keen on this.

3.6

Holmen1 (6573) - Stavanger, NORWAY - MAR 6, 2017
