Cask at the Peterborough beer festival 27/08/2016. A dark orange amber coloured pour with a fading off white head. Aroma is mild nutty malts, grassy hop, faint citrus. Cask, 1/2 pint, hand-pulled at State Bar, Glasgow (1 Aug 2016), malty, caramel, fruity aroma, amber with a thin short-lived white head and intermittent lacing, nutty, grain, light citrus flavour, oily, fairly harsh bitterness in the finish. Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. 12/08/16. Fruity aroma. Not strong but I like. Medium amber, with a reddish tinge in the sun. Healthy white head. Light bodied. Flat. Initial sweetness followed by a sour bitterness. Lemon. Refreshing.

Cask conditioned at The Rising Sun, Wootton, Hampshire. Amber with white head. This is quite a sweetish, fruity, peachy beer with a smooth, easy maltiness, light and nicely refreshing. Enjoyable.
