On the pour, it’s just likeapple pie, sweet, appley, a little hint of the spices. Closer up, there’s more of the pie base too. Hazy straw colour, nice tight white head. Taste more of the pie, including a rather starchy base. Some odd glueyness according to Anna. Quite a heavy beer for only 5%, almost heady. Full and smooth palate, as I’d expect for a stronger one, as I implied. Kinda decent being a Belgian ale, but an unexceptional one.
Bottle shared with Dutchdrebus @ weekly tasting. Slightly unclear a bit pale yellow color, medium sized fizzy white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma appears to be a bit sourish and citrussy. Taste slightly malts, a bit citrussy, slightly floral. A bit fizzy carbonation, average body. Dedollewaitor (16393) - Odense, DENMARK - JAN 4, 2013
