COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mix of Vicaris Tripel and Boon lambic.

75 cl. Hazy golden with a medium head, minimal lacings. Aroma is clearly citrusy sour with grassy, woody notes, slight orangeish note as well as some spices. Taste is a nice mix of sour and sweet notes, sourish green apples from the gueuze, more overiped fruit and bitterness from the tripel. Easy to define the different styles but somehow not a beer on its very own, still drinkable and well made. Taste is surprisingly full after the smell. Watery sweet and sour combine into something quite original, if not terribly well balanced. Both sides are well defined; both loose something: the gueuze its elegance and delicacy, the triple its bitter sweet fullness. The result is pleasing in that it accentuates familiar flavours in new ways, but misses synergy. Respect for the effort!

Opaque golden beer with a weak head and nice bubbliness. Smell is intensely sour and citric with hints of leather and wood. Some orange and lemon. In the background very subtle bitterness and honey sweetness. Maybe some white pepper. Quite spicy overal. Light astringency, hint of overripe fruit. Taste is surprisingly full after the smell. Not terrible, but was expecting so much more. Aroma was ok. Some sour fruit smells with a definite wild yeast funkiness. Not big and Im your face but Im the background. Pour was a hazy dark gold and even with a bright pop after the cork came out, just a thin off white film for a head. Taste was ok. Just as it is described, it actually tastes like a triple that wasnt done fermenting a drank young. Sweet and candi sugary flavors in the front. A little caramel came out more before the slightly tart Granny Smith Apple finish. Pretty thin mouth feel and flavor and nowhere near enough carbonation to make this beer really good. Was a little flat for the style

Sample at SBWF 2016. Fruity, tart, yeasty spicy smell. Similar taste. Very nice! It really tastes like a mix between tripel and guezue.

Nose is rather small but fruity and pours with a small head in white. Taste is a little yeast but more of fruit and aciduous. Easy said refreshing and easy to get to.

Rating #2236 - 2015.12.10 - Draught @CraftBeerYYC, Hazy golden pour, medium white head. Aroma is disinfectant soap, bubblegum, and candy sugar Mouthfeel is clean, medium carbonation. Quite complex, the sourness is tempered with a yeasty kick, i think the blend highlights the gueuze more than the boozy tripel.
