Vicaris Tripel/Gueuze is een bier van hoge gisting dat ideaal is als dorstlesser voor de lange, warme zomerdagen. Het bier is door het complexe samenspel van Vicaris Tripel en gueuze een uniek type bier. De fruitige en zachte eigenschappen van Vicaris Tripel/Gueuze zijn afkomstig van Vicaris Tripel, de frisse lichtzurigheid krijg het bier mee van de gueuze.

Voici le mariage d'une gueuze et d'une triple. De cette union, la question est donc de savoir si l'union donnera naissance à de nouvelles sensations ou si l'acidité de la gueuze aura le dessus sur la douceur et l'équilibre de la triple. Mais commençons par le visuel : blond légèrement trouble (EBC aux alentours de 22) avec une mousse nappant juste la surface. Rien d'extraordinaire à ce stade. Le nez se porte avant tout sur celui d'une gueuze, c'est à dire l'acidité. A la dégustation, pas de doute possible cependant, la gueuze a l'ascendant et ce sont bien ses arômes qui prédominent. Cependant la triple permet de l'adoucir, de la rendre moins acide, moins agressive et même en troisième bouche de développer quelques peu des arômes fruités de triple. Ceux qui apprécient de base les gueuze y trouveront très certainement leur bonheur. Cependant match déséquilibré : Gueuze : 3 - Triple : 1

Not a bad gueuze, but not my favorite either. Has more of the sweet characteristics of the tripel than anything else. Light sourness at the beginning, thick and malty. Honey and plums, some coriander. Shared a bottle with dad at Darios in 2017.

F: not big, bit tan, quick gone. C: gold, hazy. A: sour fruity, brett, bit woody, citrus, lambic, peach, kiwi. T: malty, bit citrus, bit brett, light woody, green apple, unripe plum, light fruity sour, medium body and carbonation, something like connection of Belgian strong ale, lambic and gueuze together, not bad, enjoyed, 33cl bottle from the brewery.

750 ml corked and caged bottle. The beer is a clear copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has notes of fruity candy, some floral lavender, and a bit of a buttered biscuit character. Sweet overall. Medium body and medium carbonation.

A great "Biermischgetränk". First sips are just like a balanced geuze. Lactic tartness, pale fruits. Triple is coming through with some cara sweetness. But the sweetness is not that present. Hints of its strong body shining through cirtus layer of the geuze.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 31.03.2018. amber lightly hazy color, medium big white head. smells earthy, light funk, some green apples, musty, light caramel, berry notes, marzipan. very nice smell could be a bit bolder though. full body, light carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes grassy, lightly citric, musty, funk, very light green apples, bit peppery, very light caramel, bit earthy. finishes lightly sour with notes of citrus, grass and some caramel. not bad but taste is a bit boring, could use a bit more sourness. overall still nice and quite drinkable.

On tap at Goed Zuur poured a hazy orange with a small lingering off white head. Aromas of caramel, fruitiness and citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of straw, fruitiness, yeast and citrus with a smooth dry lingering citrus finish.

Golden colour with thin soapy head. It’s a blend of Tripel and Gueuze and that’s exactly how it tastes. The sweeter malt and alcohol notes of the Tripel take the edge off the sourness making it both easy to drink and refreshing.
