tasting. Deep ambery brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is liquorice, spices, alcohol and stuff. First thing that came to mind was Gouden Carolus. Flavour is quite liquorice, some spices and mild wooden and alcoholic notes. Aroma is actually better than the flavour, which feels it’s still quite young. Still nice.
Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a cloudy, murky brownish with a tiny off-white head. Spicy nose with some licorice notes. Medium body, heavy carbonation, some roast, licorice and dried dark fruit. A little late bitterness. Decent but overly carbonated. 270812Travlr (24333) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - DEC 18, 2011
