UPDATED: SEP 1, 2011 Bottle 33cl. Golden colour with abundant and persistent white foam. Aroma to fresh fruits, toasted malts and coffee. Considerable density. A bodied beer with hopped hints. Touchs to toasted malts on palate with medium persistence.

Ever since I moved to Málaga, Spain I have started a small ’fight for Victoria’ because I think it’s the best commercially brewed Spanish lager there is. And because it is from Málaga I feel it should be served more than the ubiquitous (and horrible) Cruzcampo. Carbonation is low, which is great when you’re planning to drink tons of the stuff on a fiesta! Not much of a lingering taste, corn, pale, not that special really until you are forced to drink Cruzcampo and then suddenly you start noticing that Victoria is much better!

33 cl bottle at El Pimpi, Málaga. Pours clean intense golden, white cream. Deep aromas of honey, cinnamon, iron filings and bread. Soft and light, short-lingering finish.

Una de las cervezas con poco cuerpo más fáciles de beber. Su olor no destaca y su su sabor no es muy potente, pero bien fría es muy adictiva

A pretty good beer for the style. Light noble hop presence in the aromas and flavors. Refreshing and makes for very easy drinking.

Durchschnittlich starke Schaumentwicklung, grobkörnige Konsistenz mit eher geringer Haltbarkeit. Farblich goldgelb. Riecht mild, leicht süßlich-malzig, etwas metallisch. Mild im Antrunk, kernig-malzig, verhältnismäßig herb. Angemessene Rezenz, gute Süffigkeit. Ein besseres südländisches Lager.
