Growler from victory, into a ale glass. Pour is a light yellow gold with a nice head. Aroma is pure summer time, hops and grasses. Taste is smooth crisp and rounded. Finish is warm and sweet, Victory is a great brewer, and this is a great ale.
Growler shared downtown during RBWG 2014 - Asheville Late-Nite. Cheers! Pours perfectly clear gold with a frothy, bubbly head. Dry pale malts in the nose, light grassy hops. Medium sweet flavor with notes of white bread, low bitterness, some hay. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet to conclude, with nips of bread, honey and more hay. Good one. Tasted from 32oz growler at the Friday night tasting at RBWG Asheville, thanks to Drake. Pours clear bright yellow with an average white head that slowly recedes to thin lace. The nose is spicy, floral hops with some light caramel bread malt, and a very German yeasty aroma. The flavor is more malt forward with the spicy, floral hops underlying and providing a bit of nice bitterness. The body is medium with very lively carbonation and a long malty caramel and touch of bitter finish. phaleslu (10668) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Half-growler from Whole Foods shared at the Dumptown Inn on Friday night- thanks, Drake! Pours a pale, clear gold with no head. Notes of sweet and pale malts, straw, honey, sugar, and toast. Light-bodied, with low to moderate carbonation and a malty, dry mouthfeel. Decent heller bock. 574deadzone (1419) - North Central, Indiana, USA - FEB 22, 2014
Draft. Pours a clear true golden with an eggshell head that settles to a film and leaves some touches of lace. Nose involves soft, clean malt, some noble spice and light citrus notes. Somewhat sweet, quite bitter. Medium to full bodied, oily, softer action, creamy, with a tingly bitter finish. Tasty brew, on point style-wise.

>> Pours a clear, bright blonde. Nice medium white foam. Nose is apple, honeydew, house German lager yeast, fresh. Taste is soft, clean, light honeydew, sugar, noble hops. Clean and refreshing. Perhaps the first for this sometimes terrible style.

Light gold body White head.
Little to no aroma.
The flavor is lightly bitter without much maltiness. All in all not a bad beer, just not a Bock. Needs more malt to make this work. deyholla (12253) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Bottle at RBWG 2014, thanks! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a earthy bread note with a touch of biscuit and cookie. Flavor has cookie, grain and biscuit with just a hint of hay. jcnielsen (3416) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - FEB 10, 2014

Yellow gold pour with white head. Aroma is flat paper. A clean paper taste with not much complexity but clean and refreshing. A clean finish.
