This is a very different beer. Wonderfully malty and flavorful. I think the difference must be the slight sweetness, yet it is surprisingly good!

Great color, but overall not my favorite beer from the taste aspect. It was a beautiful copper and for a big fan of Victory like myself, this was my least favorite made by them. It is only sold in PJ Whelihan’s. IndianaRed (5272) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 28, 2016

Rated on 02-28-2013 at Victory B.C. This draft beer’s appearance is a small beige head with a short retention, transparent copper body, no visible carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is caramel malt and toasty. The flavor mimics the aroma. This beer’s mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. A very quaffable session beer that I would drink again. skmikeg (1826) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 30, 2014
Pours deep copper with a half finger for white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of toasted malts, floral hops, grassy hops, sweet malts, caramel, and apple juice. Taste is similar to the aroma. Has a medium body with semi creamy mouthfeel and a semi bItter, slighty dry, medium finish. Overall, a very nice copper lager that is pretty tasty and drinkable.
ROGUE (2216) - Lewes, Delaware, USA - SEP 11, 2014
On tap @ SL Liquors. Pours a rich mahogany color that has ruby highlights on the edges with a short creamy light tan head that fades to a thin collar. The aroma is fresh and floral up front, with notes of light roast, caramel, and fresh citrus character quickly following. The flavor is nicely balanced between a gently toasty malt and an underlying bitterness. It finishes clean and dry with a touch of toasted maltiness. Medium bodied, with a firm, crisp carbonation. Draft at brewery. Pours a murky orange with a thin white head. Malty aroma with caramel, grains, and nuts. Flavor was sweet and malty with caramel, bread, subtle toffee, nuts and had a crisp clean finish. sturmthis (1195) - Bavaria, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2014
On draft. Cooper color with thin white head. Malty aroma. Slightly sweet taste. Bready. Not bad, but nothing special. Ferris (17910) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014
Draft - Biscuit and grains. Clear pale gold with no head. Light grain notes, honey and a sweet finish. callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 14, 2014
Dark copper body, thin off-white head, sparse lacing. Caramel, toffee, dark bready toast, a touch of nuts, and wild grains. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweetness throughout. A little muddled, not particularly interesting, and given the sweetness, a little slow drinking.
