Tap at PJ’s. Pour is amber with fluffy white head. Aromas of grain and not much else. Flavor is that of a Yuengling with a fart in it. Blech! I had to choke this one down. Terrible. ClassyBeagle (376) - New Jersey, USA - DEC 19, 2013
I generally dig all things Victory, but I do NOT dig this beer. Tastes like In-Bev brewed it...... happy4hops (376) - Bel Air, Maryland, USA - AUG 9, 2005
Finally a dunkel I love.Deep authentic bavarian notes abound. As my glass has sat finished for about five minutes. It smells like a really good salty pretzel. fatty (363) - Perkiomenville, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 12, 2005
Dark caramel brown, cleary body with thin tan ringing head. Sweet chocolate, malt aroma. Sweet malty flavor reminiscent of a Munich dunkel. Very similar to the Munich Hofbrauhaus dunkel in fact. Medium palate. irishsnake (355) - Oakland, California, USA - JUN 27, 2004
(sample @ brewery) beer is a very pretty amber/red color, under a nice off-white head. mild aroma of toasty malts. flavor is of lightly toasted and sweet malts. finish is caramelly and sweetish. body is quite light, an drinkabilty is very good.

Tap @ Victory. Clear amber/copper w beige head that could have lasted longer. Very nice, clean, fresh med roast malt with light hops. Not too sweet. Pushing med bodied. I have always liked lagers. It’s nice to enjoy fine quality lagers at Victory. Quite refreshing. PWalk (337) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2005
Tap/ Bottle: Malty sweet aroma leads to much of the same in the flavor. Not as big in the flavor dept as I thought it would be which lead to me being a little let down. jon112981 (327) - Bristow, Virginia, USA - MAR 26, 2005
Bittle. A nice deep red/brown color in glass. A very sweet armoa and flavor. A nice finish with very little bitterness. eelbasher (285) - New Jersey, USA - SEP 24, 2012

’s. Deep muddy amber with a nice looking head. Yeast, bready, and some slight sweetness waft from the glass. Not much going on here. Thin body with slight bready malts, floral hops, and finishing bland. Ehhh not my thing at all. Just a glorified Yuengling
Goes great with the roast beef.
