heavy bubbling in the transparent straw color, thin ring and island formed from moderate white film and small bubbles. Weedy grass nose, peppery esters hiding amidst banana. Flavor is strong banana at front, solvent and lemon mid before citrus zest finish, hints wheat throughout the full bodied, foamy experience. Tap at proof. Floral aroma Belgian yeast dough and fruit. Strong inviting aroma. Taste is much dryer than other triples. Almost a mix between a triple and duvel. Draft at Fermentation. Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Sweet banana, candi sugars, creamy sweetness, hints of spice and grass. Similar flavor without the viscosity, fairly dry with a spicy note to it. Not bad, just another Tripel.

Draft notes from Blue Dog. Poured hazy deep golden straw colored with clingy white head. Nose is yeasty esters, some funk, hopcitrus. Taste was yeasty esters, rock sugary malts, astringent hopcitrus. On tap at Alla Spina with Pat. Pours a ultra hazy and glowing copper orange. Head was creamy, lacing was thick. Aromas of soap, peppermint, wheat, coriander, christmas spice. Crisp as hell. Taste was a tangy wheat beer with spicy hops, some fruitiness present after it warmed a bit. Further flavors of apple cider and bier de garde notes. At the brewery today. Small glass, maybe too small to rate. Clear amber, lighter and more clear than I expected. Nose of wheat and malt. Almost no head, only moderate lace, pretty, but did not look like a tripel. Taste of wheat, yeast, malt, and a touch of hops, more hops than i expected in a tripel, but nice. On tap at the brewpub. Hazy orange gold with small white head. Yeasty, estery nose with banana, almost hefeweissen like in the estery qualities Mouth is soft and fruity, surprisingly dry upfront, lots of fresh hops, softly fruity. Surprisingly nice, I like this more than a lot of their Belgian styles.
