Draft notes from Blue Dog. Poured hazy deep golden straw colored with clingy white head. Nose is yeasty esters, some funk, hopcitrus. Taste was yeasty esters, rock sugary malts, astringent hopcitrus. High level of complexity in this. GT (10001) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 3, 2012
Tap at Victory. Clear straw with no lacing. Sweet malt and honey nose. Taste is sweeter candi sugar, mild herbal adjunct, Belgian esters. Pretty standard Tripel nose. Taste is standard Tripel- mild hefeweizen yeast character, big esters, spicy yeast, white sugar, mild hoppy twang. Very nice, normal Tripel. I took the liberty of categorizing this one from tasting though it is listed as 7% Belgian blonde ale at the brewery which places it in a nebulous position on ratebeer.

Draft at Alla Spina with Pat. Pours a pale yellow body with light haze and white lacing. Aroma is grass, clean malt, spice and bitter hop. Mouthfeel is light with grassy hop and yeast up front followed by some wheat, sugar and grain. PhillyCraft (7584) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 25, 2012
On tap at Alla Spina with Pat. Pours a ultra hazy and glowing copper orange. Head was creamy, lacing was thick. Aromas of soap, peppermint, wheat, coriander, christmas spice. Crisp as hell. Taste was a tangy wheat beer with spicy hops, some fruitiness present after it warmed a bit. Further flavors of apple cider and bier de garde notes. jbruner (5008) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JUN 27, 2013
Pours a clear golden yellow with no real head or lacing to speak of. Aroma is sweet, almost apple esters, Belgian yeast. Taste is more of the yeast and less of the sweet maltiness. Meh.

Draught at the BrewPub: Aroma of grain and wheat. Poured yellow in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Very hazy. Sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malt, Belgian yeast, and slight hops. Light to medium body. Lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, slightly bitter, malt, Belgian yeast finish is dry. 7%ABV is completely hidden throughout. callmemickey (4549) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 6, 2012

Hazy straw yellow body. Thin white head. No lacing. Aroma is mellow with hints of Belgian yeast, orange, and grainy-wheat. The aroma, especially after opening up for a few minutes was a significant improvement. Honey like sweetness, lemon-orange notes, wheat, mild floral character. Clean, light bodied brew with a refeshing semi-dry finish, and a light herbal/floral feel. A nice offering that should serve Alla Spina well for a house beer. [[email protected]
heavy bubbling in the transparent straw color, thin ring and island formed from moderate white film and small bubbles. Weedy grass nose, peppery esters hiding amidst banana. Flavor is strong banana at front, solvent and lemon mid before citrus zest finish, hints wheat throughout the full bodied, foamy experience. An attempt at marriage that doesn’t work, more hop needed to spruce this lemon-heavy tripel. Thankfully there’s no booze. Leafs93 (2305) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2012
Pours hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is wheat, pear and grass. Lighter then expected. Taste is sweet. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Draft at Fermentation. Clear golden pour with a fluffy white head. Sweet banana, candi sugars, creamy sweetness, hints of spice and grass. Similar flavor without the viscosity, fairly dry with a spicy note to it. Not bad, just another Tripel.
