This is a fantastic Vienna-style lager. It pours an absoutle clear amber color with a soft but generous white head. This beer leaves quite a bit of sticky lacing to the edges of the glass. The aroma is full of bready malts, with deep and rich notes of toast, light caramel, earth and flowery hops. The body was full and delicious, with flavor notes of bread, yeast, toffee and light caramel. The finish was a little dry and hoppy, with a smooth and silky sweet and malty flavor. This is one lager that could survive at Oktoberfest. boto (2211) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JUL 13, 2008
Draught @ Victory: This one pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma is of caramel malts and a hint of floral. The taste is mainly caramel malts, with some light spiciness. Nicely balanced with hops. Very smooth. This is a very drinkable beer. fredandboboflo (1570) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 26, 2008
Tap at Blind Tiger. Aroma of tart raspberry, crisp apple, some alcohol. Flavor earthy fruity sweetness. Tartish finish, and pretty easy drinking despite the sweetness. jeff789 (1408) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 12, 2009
Clear amber color, nice standard looking vienna... Sweet bready aroma... Malty, slightly sweet a bit dry, a very nice vienna lager... I definitely prefer this to the V lager that is bottled... WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 12, 2008
My reaction to most lagers is to say, "only a lager" and that’s almost true of this one. Yes, a Vienna malt looks a little better, with a rich dark copper tone, and tastes a little better, with more caramel and nutty overtones. Still just a lager, but a good one, with nice floral notes up front and a touch of bitterness in the finish.

Bach party, draft. It’s really astounding how many lighter ales and lagers Victory had on tap. Blonde ale, vienna, 3 or 4 pils, etc. But they were all good, and this was no exception. Ty5592 (1018) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 28, 2008
Draft. Clear clean orange color. Light malt and bisquit aroma. The taste was the same wih light fizzy mouthful. LiebeBier (808) - Annapolis, Maryland, USA - JAN 25, 2009
Draft at Victory - A nice lager, but this one has a funky almost pungent flavor. Aroma is bready and malty which didn’t seem to translate to the beer. An overly complex flavor. jehoey (765) - Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 23, 2008
pours amber in color with 2 fingers of white head that dissipate to a film on the top. aroma is full of melanoidins, mmm toasty, great malty flavor and aroma. hops are very nicely balanced and add a spicy complexity. good medium body. an excellent lager. joeymacaroni (309) - Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 21, 2008
draft at Victory: dark red color with a warm peachy aroma. heavy maltiness with flavors of caramel and bubblegum, but also some light floral and peach/nectarine flavors. long, floral finish. not exactly my cup of tea, but i think my wife liked it.
