Bottle. Cannot find BBD but I assume its not the freshest - was a last bottle on the shelf. Pours creamy and cloudy orange, thick foam head that has come to stay. Quite sturdy nose, lots of malty barleywine character, sweetish and some hints of overripe mango and tropical fruits, still some NZ hops in action. Taste is relatively rough, some sourish notes and lots of bitterness. Kind of harsh and unbalanced actually, rough drinking. Finish has its of lingering bitterness, herbal and really intense. Overall, I guess it is what it is, nose is the best part and everything else is unpolished and not the greatest.

500 ml bottle. Bottled on 04/07/2016. Thanks Timo P!
Hazy amber color with a huge foamy head. Airy hoppy aroma with some sweetness. The flavor is leafy hops, mild bitterness and malt. The label is beautiful.

Bottle. Opaque amber color, frothy off-white head. Dry, hoppy aroma. Floral hop flavor, rose petals. Bitter finish. Medium-full body, medium carbonation. Not bad.

suurjuust (3685) - ESTONIA - SEP 24, 2016
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange amber beer, medium off-white head. Nose is fruity hops, some sweetness and pine. Flavor is sweet and piney, herbal notes and resin in the finish, more malty sweetness, lychee and mango. Resiny overtones on the whole flavor profile, but that’s not a bad thing at all. On the sweet and flavorful side.

50cl bottle from Sip, Tallinn. Pours slightly hazy deep amber with a lasting, off-white head. Fruity aroma with tropical fruits, citrus, caramel and hints of pine and herbs. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a fairly strong bitterness. Feels quite balanced in the end anyway, at least the alcohol is well integrated. Fruity, powerful and rather tasty.

500ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Rich orange, tight creamy persistent head. Sweet caramelly malty aroma. Very rich sweet caramelly palate, pretty fruity, fleshy fruit, some spiciness. Full, slick, almost heavy, but not boozy. All in all a bit sweet and heavy recipe, not generally to my tastes, but it has been done rather well, and bonus points for keeping the alcohol hidden.

phfyysik (1396) - Tartu, ESTONIA - AUG 9, 2016
Pours amber with light head. Aroma is fruits, light caramel, some grass, light fruits, some spices. Taste is bitter, light fruits, grass, pine, resin, citrus, orange peel. Quite nice beer!

Bottle (the full name includes "New Zealand Double IPA"). Orange body, medium head. Aroma has pine resin and dry zesty orange peel. Dry and very resinous taste, mostly dried orange peel and pine needles. Long dry finish, feels even a bit harsh. Since the body is a touch thin it doesn’t carry all this dry bitterness too well. The body should be a bit more maltier. Well, at least for my tastes. Right now it’s a bit too resinous. As I’m reaching the end of the bottle I start to like it more. But the first impression was that it’s too dry.
