COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

TBone (18099) - Pori, FINLAND - APR 20, 2017
Bottled 500ml (Uba ja Humal)
Dark brown color, medium-sized beige head. Belgian yeast, chocolate, figs, berries and alcohol in the nose. Medium-bodied. Dark fruits, alcohol, candy sugar, grassy hops. Quite alcoholic. Despite of description this beer is closer to Abt/Quadrupel than Saison or Black IPA. Boozy, but interesting in small quantities.

MartR (356) - Aespa, ESTONIA - JAN 30, 2017
Pours with a huge thick tan head. Aroma gives a hint of high alcohol. Taste is a total mess. Completely unbalanced, highly boozy and not a pleasant drink. Finishes with grassy hops. Why oh why 9%? I bet it would be a whole lot better with less alcohol. However after (20min) the carbonation is completely gone and the beer has warmed up, it’s becoming more and more drinkable. Even some roast is showing up that I didn’t notice before. But I will not correct the score anymore because now I see huge chunks of yeast appearing from the bottom.

Nice dark, little a bit sour and nice caramel taste. This brew was one of the greatest.

FatPhil (16930) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 7, 2016
400ml bottle (Pothouse, Tallinn)
Deep mahogany, tight persistent tan head. Extremely pungent aroma, rotting citrus fruits, some bitter herbal hopping. Go-blind solventy punch in the fucking mouth, some sweetness, some more pungency, and some good old fashioned booze. Oh, some dirty yeastiness too. Hot and rough, and pretty nasty. Ug, why couldn’t I have shared a bottle. With someone other than Mr. Plumbing, that is.

jinroh (2131) - ESTONIA - AUG 29, 2016
Bottle from Alus Celle, Riga/Latvia. Pours dark brown bit of foam, not much though. Drinking this beer now because it was leaking a bit after a long flight and would have probably gotten stale if not drunk asap. Aroma slightly sour, bit of soft roast and dark fruits, prunes. Taste is actually relatively bitter, albeit the body is sweet as a sugar candy. Bitterness lingers for longer, somewhat grassy hop character, leaving raw green apple impression. Body does not feel heavy, quite light and that is all good in my book. Not so sure about the Belgian ingredient in this beer, feels more like a hoppy young barleywine. Overall, well made.

suurjuust (3685) - ESTONIA - AUG 20, 2016
Bottle. Dark brown beer, big fluffy pale beige head. Nose is dark fruits, caramel sweetness, hop notes. Flavor is raisins, caramel, yeast. Boozy finish, hops with a mildly soapy edge to them, something citric. Not bad, but lacks focus.

Marduk (8219) - Reval, ESTONIA - JUL 30, 2016
440ml bottle. Dark brown, chestnut color. Tiny size, off-white head, stays as a ring. Sourish, caramelly, sweet, berries and faint alcohol and some yeast in aroma. Sourish, yeasty, caramel, raisins, alcohol in taste. Caramel, yeast and alcohol in aftertaste. Messy and boozy brew.
