Our version and our vision of classic Indian Pale Ale in American style. Rather pale (with a small addition of crystal and wheat malts), very dry with distinctive bitterness and strong classical American aroma and flavour of citrus and tropical fruits - that’s our interpretation of American IPA for everyday consumption. We used LOTS of hops to achieve that: 5 hops additions throughout the brewing process plus double dry hopping with significant amount of hops during different stages of fermentation. Hops composition should give pleasure to every hophead: Centennial, Columbus, Chinook и Amarillo - more than 15 kilos of that magical ingredient were used and added to boiler, mash tun and fermentation tank. Nevertheless, the beer is quite balanced.

500ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, off-white head. Fruity hoppy and spicy malty aroma, notes of mandarine, orange, bitter orange, underlying (rye?) spiciness. Taste delivers an identical mixture of flavours, moderate bitter- and spiciness in mandarine and orange milieu.

Bottle from Geers, Gent - BE. Color: clear dark amber beer with small carbonation and small ivory head. Smell: rye malt domination, grassy and pine hops. Caramel hint. Taste: medium body with caramel malt and grassy, resin pine balance. Hoppy with resinous taste. Good attenuation, quiet drinkable. Aftertaste: caramel and resin, high bitterness. Quiet good.

On tap at Craft House Minsk, Belarus. Unclear golden coloured, small white to off-white head, herbal hoppy nose. Moderate malty, herbal hoppy, caramel, oranges, mild citrusy fruity and moderate bitter finish. Pleasant.

A little too little carbonation would be the only thing I could mention against this very nice beer.

50cl bottle from Kaubamaja, Tallinn. Pours clear amber with a lasting, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity and well balanced. Tropical fruits, citrus, hints of herbs and pine and some caramel. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a pleasantly bitter finish. Nice and refreshing IPA.

(Keg at Kaunis Kampela, 20161118) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grain, grass and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, caramel, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A decent hoppy pale ale with an unconventional hop profile.

Bang for buck beer, tastes a bit like a watered down version of the real deal, but good enough when really thirsty or just done with a hard day, etc. Like a mainstream, store-bought beer with endearing character that disappoints a little, but is far better than your average mass brewed yellow liquid.
