Shared by Bart at Struise shop in Bruges. Another 'pastry stout' intended to mimic tiramisu... Thin and loose, yellowish beige, moussy head, but very unstable and quickly vanishing into almost nothing, over a black beer with mahogany brown edges. Aroma of cocoa powder, vanilla extract, brownies, Wiener Sachertorte, marzipan, molten 'fondant' chocolate, pipe tobacco, brown rum, walnut cake. Sweet, sugary onset, candied fig, marzipan, sourish brambleberry juice touch, softish carbo, slick and oily, full mouthfeel but not as creamy as expected from a stout belonging to this new desserty substyle. Rounded hazelnutty and very caramelly malt sweetness, deeply chocolatey in the middle with the expected retronasal dessert aspects coming up quickly, reminiscent of vanilla, chocolate and almond; lingering sweetness and 'dessertiness' but not as 'decadently' so as in other pastry stouts (think Omnipollo and the like), close to no hop bitterness but instead a light peppery effect from rum-like alcohol. Aromatic and tasteful, but perhaps lacking a bit in body. vinivini (3147) - Gomel, BELARUS - DEC 28, 2017
Bottle. Pitch black. Small beige head. Aroma: bombastic biscuit cookies, nuts, chocolate, roast, ashes, smoke. Not my kind. Similar taste. Not as sweet you would imagine it would be. It might be even complex. Still a waste of time & money for those who prefere beer-like beer. Not again. beskid (419) - Baden-Württemberg, GERMANY - NOV 21, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 24, 2017 On tap at Beercap, Minsk. Aroma of sweet coffee, coffee cream, lactose, caramel candy ("krovka"). Very sweet, strong milk chocolate taste, caramel, marshmallows. Watery, medium carbonation. Very acidic, sightly roasted aftertaste. Great surprise, much better than I expected. sharkydodson (1927) - St. Petersburg, RUSSIA - OCT 6, 2017

Clear black beer, no head. Aroma: lots and lots of burned caramel, crème brûlée, lots of vanilla, sweet, sugary, wow, nice smell! MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, caramel, soft roast, vanilla, malty, milk chocolate. Aftertaste: roasted, coffee, sweet, caramel, vanilla, crème brûlée. Lovely dessert stout.
Thank you tderoeck! Sampled draft @ VCBF 2017. Oily black with no head. Nose is weird sweet plastic candy, sugar, sweet, spoiled lactose. Taste is unpleasant plastic, sugar, chemical, off condensed milk, herbal, gravy, overly boozy, painfully chemical tasting. Sugar, plastic, syrup. Quite a mess with plenty of unpleasant notes, definitely didn’t taste like Tiramisu for me, quite a mess. BigMomma (250) - Leuven, BELGIUM - JUN 11, 2017
UPDATED: JUN 11, 2017 @VCBF2017. Sweet chocolate cookie nose. Lovely. Complex flavor but both the body and finish do not live up to expectations.
