On tap at Earth. Pours a clear amber with a medium to large beiged white head. Light musk, dusty hops, spicy malt on the nose. Musky, grainy phenolics, grassy. Medium bodied, caramel and grain. Malt, lots of sweet toast, tropical fruit and malt. Malt leads into a slow tropical fruit bitterness on the finish. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Yellow pour, very light head. Flavors of oranges, spicy hops, some grassy notes, biscuit malt. Fair but not great by any means. DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 5, 2012
Draft at Drafting Room Exton. Poured hazy dark straw with off-white head. Nose was citric, tropical, with pineapple and tangerine, and black pepper. Tasted rich, complex, with tropical fruit, black pepper, and caramel malt throughout. This is a very good IPA. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - MAY 7, 2012
Tap at Victory. Light copper pour, sparkling, thick head retention. Nose is nicely complex: floral, biscuity, fresh, muted white grapefruit. Mostly biscuity pils malt. Taste is spot on- rich and quenching with silkiness and softness not seen in the style hardly ever. Amazing palate. Grassy, silky, bitter. Wow. Mild alcohol presence. Killer.

Sampled on draft at D’s in Monroeville this beer poured a dark amber color with a huge fluffy orange-white head that lingered forever and left ok lacing. The aroma was faintly sweet and tangy with faint fruity hops. The flavor was nutty caramel, honey, bread, tangy malts and mixed fruity hops. Medium length finish of caramel, bread and hops. Medium body. Pleasant though subdued. Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 16, 2014
Clear, light gold. Collapsing white head. Sweet, slightly doughy, tangerine rind aroma. Nice hop qip, light gel sweetness. A little woody/grassy/twiggy. Medium fruitiness, medium light body. Orange pastry finish with lingering bitterness. Sessionable and enjoyable. Bittering builds. Light diacetyl as it warms. On tap, Proof. michael-pollack (4959) - King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Draught at Downingtown BrewPub: Aroma of malt, grain, hops, and a hint of florals. Poured pale yellow in color with small to medium-sized, creamy, dense, white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Good lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and lightly bitter. Tastes of malt, grain, diacetyl, slight butter, and a hint of hops. Light body. Slightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Lightly sweet, lightly bitter, malt, grain, slight hop finish is lightly dry. Really, an IPA?!? MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAY 6, 2012
Tap at pub, tried against the Bavarian Spalt, Bavarian Polaris, and Headwaters Pale Ale. Lightest of the three, most effervescent and appealing with lingering head. A lot of leafy earth qualities, lightly floral with considerable citrus and hay, a bit of vitamin C issues. More hoppy, less dry than the Spalt, but not nearly the balance or complexity, though still quite nice, light, and well-attenuated.alobar (3784) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 20, 2012
