3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Victory last weekend. Blonde and clear. The nose brings faint notes of pink peppercorns. The flavor has a nice peppery bite alongside spice and some light grain. Light and crisp. Very drinkable.
Clear golden body, medium white head, soapy lacing. Chamomile, lemongrass and sage... quite herbal. A bit too much. Medium to light bodied, moderate carbonation, lingering finish. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Draft @ 800° Three Fires. Spicy chamomile, bubblegum, lavender, slight yeast, and white grape aroma. Clear pale gold with a moderate creamy head. Chamomile, light bready malt, lavender, grassy flavor - very herbal. Light body, moderate carbonation. I love herbal florals, so I really enjoyed this one. If you’re not a fan of herbal florals, then this will probably seem medicinal to you. mansquito (7131) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 15, 2013
City Tap House, Philadelphia ($6): Pours a golden color with a white head. Aroma is vegetal, spicy, and herbal. Taste is similar. Kind of tastes like medicine, herbs, and vegetables. I think I actually like tis better than I like most biere de gardes, which are often disappointing. GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 23, 2013
Tap at victory. Sparkling clear gold pour. Full sheets of white lacing. Nose is mega spice adjunct, huge chamomile, lavender. Taste is extremely medicinal, huge tea spices, potpourri. Not Biere de Garde similar to how Swing Session is not a saison. reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Pours a clear gold with a medium white head...lively looking. Aroma has some mild spice notes...coriander...slightly herbal...a note of something reminiscent of chamomile. Flavor has grassy bitterness, faint mild herbs, and notable chamomile flavor. Mouthfeel is full and lively with a bitter and dry grassy/herbal finish.

Lightly hazy golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of toast, pepper, floral hops, citrus fruits, and grass. Taste of citrus fruits, wheat, toast, and a spicy, dry finish. lachrymalisis (448) - Washington, USA - MAR 2, 2013
good take on a classic frenco-belgian farmhouse ale. a bit too peppery for my personal preferences, but it fits well. this was very dry, and quenching. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 25, 2013
