4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the Victory 20th anniversary event. Clear straw yellow with off-white head. Aromas of pils malt, citrus, herbs. Tastes of pils malt, citrus, wheat and hay, light yeast. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Tobyrando (41) - New York, USA - FEB 17, 2016
One of my favorite pilsners ever from the best lager brewer in America. Have had many different incarnations of this beer and the majority have been stellar. NikkTwist (3286) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 29, 2016
Draft at Khyber Pass. Hazy gold pour with a large frothy white head. Lasting slim layer with waves of lace. Mild amber fruit and lightly toasted bready malts. Notes of apricot, kiwi, pineapple, clementine, dandelion, and blonde caramel. Challah french toast. Yeasty breadiness feels properly German but without any funk. Much fuller than your standard pils. Better than anticipated. Dogbrick (13389) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 19, 2016
On draught at Winking Lizard. The beer pours a clear pale golden color with a medium white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of grassy hops, fruit and malt. Light-bodied with an herbal hops character and notes of fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a spicy hops aftertaste. Pretty good all around. voyageurmike (475) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 17, 2016
Aroma of grain, some floral. Blonde and clear, light bodied. Mild earthy hops flavor, slightly nutty finish.

Draft (Tria Taproom, Philly).
Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is light to medium yellow. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread), lightly to moderately hoppy (honeysuckle flowers, herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
A very enjoyable nose on this one, very German without any American give-aways. Doesn’t excel quite as much in the other departments, being a little watery and lacking in head retention and less than lip-smacking (but still well-balanced), but it’s a really nice quaffer that holds up to a lot of authentic Franconian lagers (and is better than plenty of them too). Nice stuff. tomer (3644) - Rishon Le Zion, ISRAEL - NOV 8, 2015
Draught, smallish head, clear palish yellow color, aroma of honey and vanila with hints of spice and wood., aromatic honey flavor with a medium herbal bitterness and a light sourness. Simple pleasant pilsener, nice to drink. bytemesis (8805) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - SEP 17, 2015
Tap. Spalt Hallertau version. Says it’s a Keller on the menu. Pours lightly hazy golden, small off white head, great lacing. Aroma is grassy, hints of citrus, grain, bread. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter, citrus kick over grass and grain. Light body. Bebum (1039) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 14, 2015
Light body with matching faint flavor, refreshing mouthfeel, long palate.
Crisp, dry and very bitter.
Yeasty, hoppy, touch of honey in background.
Victory makes better pils.
