Blending German pils and English oats, this very sessionable brew is dry-hopped with Hallertau-grown Blanc hops, and hints of white grapes, pear, and light peppery notes, with a subtly bitter finish.

PhillyCraft (7902) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 27, 2013
On tap at Pour house with vanilla beans and oranges. Small sample compliments of barkeep. Not sure what this dogfish looking system is but I would have preferred to try the regular beer. Notes are White wine, grapes, heavy marshmallow from the vanilla bean. Not much orange, artificial tasting. Not too good.

yespr (47380) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUN 23, 2013
From tap. Pours cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, yeasty and light peppery. Mild fruity and light toasted malty and light estery. Bitter and light hoppy, herbal finish.

tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 22, 2013
Draft at Strangelove. Cleanish gold with white head and lace. Nose of white grape, pepper, pear, citrus, grass. Light to medium body with a lightly bitter finish. Solid session.

mansquito (6885) - Nueva York, New York, USA - JUN 15, 2013
City Tap House, Philadelphia ($6): Pours a yellowish color with a white head. Aroma is a little winy, maltinesss, and bread. Taste is really fruity in a weird way, but a good way. Finish is winy, which is pretty nice and unique. Wicked easy to drink.

callmemickey (4561) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 6, 2013
Light golden yellow body, medium sized white head, good lacing. Citrus, grass, soft green grapes, a little spice. Light bodied, moderate carbonation, a nice even texture across the tongue, clean bitterness. Nice.

Leafs93 (2343) - Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 16, 2013
Pours pale gold with a small white head. Aroma is pepper, grass and pear. Taste is sweet with light bitters, dryer then anticipated finish.

reggiedunlop (3726) - The dub c, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 5, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow with a medium creamy white head...nice thick lacing. Aroma has light wildflower notes...a touch of honey and pear. Flavor has spicy pear and grassy notes. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is pear and dry spicy/grassy.

keanex (1799) - Atco, New Jersey, USA - MAY 3, 2013
On tap at Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Clear golden body, thin head.
Aroma: Light citrus, some malt.
Taste: Light and dry, floral notes.
Palate: Medium bodied, medium carbonation.
Overall: Reminds me of a chardonnay in a way.

MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 28, 2013
thicker head than melon session, same pale transparent gold body, thinner lacing. Dusty dough and grain nose, ultra strong and consistent. Flavor punches orange and resin mid, thins it with warmth, but otherwise soft like Smaragd, even more doughy biscuit through the end. Unreal softness and balance

At brewpub
1) CBC Melon
2) CBC Blanc
3) CBC Tettnanger Pils
4) Smaragd
5) Summer Love
6) Hip Czech
7) Hallertau
8) CBC Mandarina

GT (10017) - San Diego, California, USA - APR 27, 2013
Growler thanks to mrchopin. Flip top growler less than 24 hours. Pours clear, sparkling golden. Sheets of white lacing. Nose is fresh herbs, lemon, lots of squashy noble hops. Taste is quite grassy, squashy noble hops, long bitter grassy hops. Palate is sessionable, tangy, fresh lemon, long grassy hop finish. As it warms it opens up, the palate goes superlative grassy Czech hop lingering, huge hoppy long finish. Palate is out of control. So soft, quenching. Really amazing.
