On draft at the brewpub on the night of the deer incident. Pours a clear liquid gold with a coppery tint and a medium sized white head. Aroma of banana, cloves, bubble gum and Belgian yeast. Taste of banana, Belgian yeast, cloves and light spice. Peppery. egajdzis (6693) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2010
Golden color with a small, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, orange, tangerine, toffee, and toasted malts. Taste of citrus, toffee, toast, orange, some lemon peel, and a drier finish. JAXSON (607) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 22, 2010
Draft at Victory. Poured a dark gold to amber with a white head. Light malt and citrusy hops in the nose. Hops focused on citrus, grapefruit rind. Quite bitter and lightly malty in the mouth, kind of a singular bitterness. Not as much sweetness as their normal IPA’s, though I could be wrong as I had this beside a lot of the lighter CBC offerings. My notes say "not terribly vibrant or exciting", so I’ll roll with that.
